John Deere
Everybody knows of the popular tractor "John Deere" that is the center piece of most farms. This is a topic that is close to me with my family owning eight John Deere tractors to operate daily on the farm. When you ask somebody what kind of tractor is most common they will just about always say John Deere. John Deere was started in 1837 with the invention of the steel plow by the man named John Deere who was a blacksmith at the time of the invention. Now in the 21st century tractors, combines, lawnmowers, farm equipment and even kids toys all are made by the company John Deere. With the John Deere name it is thought of as being a repuitable company that produces quality products, if the John Deere company was to take the John Deere off the side of the product they would not sale near as many products even though it is still a John Deere product. The name helps sell the product in a lot of cases, this is a smart move on the marketing stand point since the name is so repuitable it helps the product sale. Without the name there would probably not be near as many child toys made by John Deere sale, so therefore the marketers are smart in developing items that are common products but are sold in large quanity simply because of the name.
